Lisa Boschult
Lisa is the proud owner of New Era Tax aka she’s the boss! She graduated from Essex Community School in 1999, then went on to Dana College in Blair Nebraska where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 2003. Lisa earned her Enrolled Agent designation with the IRS in 2017. This not only grants her unlimited representation rights with clients in front of the IRS, but can also collect a “complaint tax” from those who complain about paying taxes. She and her husband, Laeton, have a combined four children; Anthony, Rylee, Harper, & Finley.
Jenny Roberts
When entering the Glenwood office, you will see Jenny's welcoming smile on your left. Jenny handles bookkeeping, tax preparation, and provides the best leftovers for lunches. A working mom to a wonderful teenage daughter, son, significant other, and her pups Czar, Bella, and Freya. Her daughter keeps her busy on her off days with all her extracurricular activities. Spending most her time in the office, she still finds time to spend with her daughter and significant other. When home she spends time with her son who is currently in the Marines Corps. Jenny enjoys gardening, canning, true crime shows (but we don’t think she’s a serial killer, don’t worry).

Tina Apperson
Tina has been with New Era in Sidney for over 8 years! Born and raised in Hamburg Iowa, Tina graduated high school in 1993. Tina then attended Kaplan University where she earned her Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. She works as a bookkeeper, tax preparer, and keeps the staff on their toes with her office pranks. Tina has a daughter Ami and is expecting her first grandchild this fall. You can catch Tina laughing at her own jokes and would rather steal your dessert than your boyfriend.
Tamra Jackson
Tamra attended high school in Farragut Iowa and graduated in 1979. She met the love of her life that summer and they married in 1980, and they now have 4 daughters and 10 grandchildren. Prior to joining the New Era team, Tamra worked as a mail carrier while working part time at New Era during the tax season. After retiring from the postal service, she couldn’t get enough of us and now works full time. You can find Tamra and her family at their campground all summer long. Don't let her fool you, even though she is a grandma she is the biggest kid of us all!
Heidi Mendenhall
Born, raised, and forever residing in Glenwood IA, Heidi one of our fabulous bookkeepers for New Era. A mom to three sassy tiny humans, Heidi is basically a professional taxi for volleyball, soccer, football, baseball, and wrestling meets. You can find Heidi at the pool or lake in the summer and enjoys long romantic walks to take a nap. Contact Heidi for all of your bookkeeping, and child transportation needs!
Ruth Roker
Ruth is a Glenwood native, working wife and mom of 3 amazing kids, and her fur baby Max. When not attending the kids’ activities, she enjoys traveling with her family and reading. Ruth handles Tax prep and bookkeeping and is recommended 5 out of 5 by people who recommend things. When you stop into the Glenwood location and need a sweet treat, Ruth will have you covered with her bottomless candy dish.
