I grew up in Hamburg, Iowa and graduated in 1993 from Hamburg High School. I attended Kaplan University where I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration.  

I live in Hamburg. In my free time I enjoy crafting and shopping with my daughter, Ami. ​

I graduated from Essex Community School in 1999. I then went on to Dana College in Blair, Nebraska where I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 2003. During and since college, I have gained experience and expertise in all areas of business. 

Professionally, I have been around small business most of my life. When I was a small child, my father was a farmer. Like so many others, he left farming during the 80's and learned a new trade in the electrical field. For nearly 15 years, he successfully ran that company with the help of my mother, myself and my three sisters. We joke that between the four of us girls, we could probably wire a whole house on our own (although I'd never actually test that theory)!

I have earned my Enrolled Agent designation with the IRS, granting me unlimited representation rights with my clients in front of the IRS. The Enrolled Agent designation is specifically for tax professionals, as opposed to other professional designations. 

I am the mother of an energetic daughter, Rylee, who is my world. She keeps me on my toes and always has something going on!
